Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Social Scan AI at socialscan.net (the "Service"), operated by Sixpack dizajn studio, CHANGE_ME street and number, 11000 Belgrade, Serbia ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. What the Service does

Social Scan AI produces audit reports of public social media profiles. For each audit we collect publicly available information from the profile you specify (such as bio, follower counts and recent public posts with their like and comment counts), calculate metrics from that data, and use an AI model to generate scores, a diagnosis and recommendations. Instagram is currently supported; other platforms may be added.

The Service is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc., TikTok, ByteDance or any other platform. Platform names are used only to describe compatibility.

2. Accounts

  • You sign in with a one-time email link or with Google. You're responsible for keeping access to your email and Google account secure.
  • You must be at least 16 years old and, if you use the Service for a business, have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.
  • One free audit credit may be offered per person at sign-up. Creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free credits is not allowed.

3. Credits and payment

  • Audits are paid with credits. One credit is used for one completed audit. Credits are sold in one-time packs; there is no subscription.
  • A credit is deducted only when a report is successfully completed. If a profile is private, doesn't exist, has too few public posts, or an audit fails for technical reasons, no credit is used.
  • If you audit the same profile again within 24 hours, we show you the existing report instead of running a new audit, and no credit is used.
  • Credits don't expire, have no cash value, and can't be transferred or exchanged except as described in our Refund Policy.
  • Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to your purchase.
  • Prices are shown in US dollars. Applicable taxes are calculated and added by Paddle at checkout.

4. Acceptable use

You may audit your own profiles and other public profiles for legitimate purposes such as improving your own presence, serving clients, or competitive research. You agree not to:

  • use the Service or its reports to harass, stalk, intimidate, discriminate against, or target any individual;
  • audit profiles of people you know to be under 16 other than your own, or use reports to profile individuals for purposes unrelated to their public social media presence;
  • attempt to access non-public information, circumvent privacy settings, or use the Service to build databases of people's personal data;
  • resell, bulk-extract or automate access to the Service without our written permission, or interfere with its security or operation;
  • use the Service in violation of any law or of the terms of the platform being audited.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where the breach is serious, unused credits may be forfeited.

5. Reports and AI-generated content

  • Metrics in reports are calculated from public data at the time of the audit and may differ from figures shown in the platform's own analytics (for example, because some posts hide like counts or data changes after the audit).
  • Scores, diagnoses and recommendations are generated by AI. They're provided for information and guidance only, may contain errors, and are not a guarantee of any result such as follower growth, reach or sales. Use your own judgment before acting on them.
  • Subject to these Terms, you may use the reports you generate for any lawful purpose, including sharing them with clients.
  • If you turn on a report's public link, anyone with the link can view that report. You can turn the link off at any time.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, design and branding belong to Sixpack dizajn studio. Content published on social media profiles belongs to its owners; reports quote only short excerpts for the purpose of analysis.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. It depends on third-party services (data providers, AI providers and the audited platforms themselves), whose changes may temporarily or permanently affect what we can analyze. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will refund unused purchased credits.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost business. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. Sections 5–10 survive termination.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Belgrade, Serbia, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings there.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will notify registered users by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
